Along with other resolutions, I wanted to be in bed by 9:30 p.m., hopefully asleep by 10 p.m. in 2010.
But when it comes to bobsled runs, figure skating, downhill skiing and the always-fascinating speed skating, I just have no self-control.
Anybody else up at midnight these days?

Oh, it's HORRIBLE! I have to be at clinicals at 6:45am, and I always have an olympic hangover.
I like your new look! And yes, I've been hopelessly addicted.
Move to Central time. For the late night stuff, it's wonderful. Less guilt involved in staying up to watch the end of an event or all of Conan (sigh) ... poor Conan ...
I honestly have not been watching the Olympics at all. Maybe a total of a combined hour so far?
I know, I KNOW--I am so un-American.
haha- I saw the subject of this blog and said "ME TOO!" and the skeleton? Have you seen that crazy thing called a sport? i just can't turn away! ps- joel enlightened me that the olympics were STILL ON at 4am the other night while he was studying. apparently we are still missing alot! ha
Katie, I'm with you. Up late, captivated by the Olympics and wishing they were on earlier.
If you like speed and enjoy being inspired, here's another Olympic style feel-good story I think you'll enjoy: Mr. Jimmy's Birthday Challenge.
Can you imagine being 80 years old and running 80K, one kilometer for each year of your life? He's such an inspiration his neighbors and community joined him. Next thing you know he'll be winning the gold in the Sr. Olympics!
Sleep well. Thanks for loving walking as much as I do.
I'm a weirdo like Jen. We aren't big TV watchers - football is just about it - but we turned on the ski jump the other day and were both bored stiff. Honestly I can't name one person in the olympics this year. Oh wait - Michael somebody that's a swimmer? Yes, I'm serious. I do know what he looks like, though :-P
oh my goodness. we have loved watching the Olympics. Definitely cramps the sleeping hours, but I just get sucked into the stories and competition. Sad to see it go...
