After a terrible night's sleep, I woke up early yesterday morning and immediately knew I couldn't function on my own. I woke Joe up and croaked, "You need to stay home."
When I woke up again at 10 a.m., I felt better, if better is a way to describe feeling like I had quicksand in my chest and a head full of pressurized dirt. But believe me, it was an improvement. I felt well enough to take care of the kids so Joe could go to work.
And when I say well enough, I mean I was capable of spoon-feeding yogurt to Caleb and watching "Meet Me in St. Louis" with Madeline. We didn't do much else.
I spent most of the day on the couch, watching them play.
And then this happened. Thankfully I was well enough to capture it on my phone.
It started like this so I knew it was going to be good.
She wanted to make up a song by herself but it sounded awfully familiar.
Then she turned off all the lights except the white Christmas lights and sang a song with as many Latin words as possible. The lyrics, the moves, the shout-out to Caleb. Needless to say, this was my favorite.

She totally rhymed electricity and Christmas tree. Amazed. :)
Wow. I mean wow. I laughed so hard. I love her so much. My favorite? "Caleb! No!" without missing a beat.
That was amazing! I see she has the hip movement down while singing. She must of learned that from her Dad.
