Leyton and I have been working on potty training for about the last month. He's been doing really well overall, but this week has been a challenging one. He definitely has his moments. My favorite is when he potties and gets up and starts jumping up and down yelling "me did it, me did it!" It's adorable! :)

We should make a date for the museum with Brennan and Jenny sometime. Like labor, potty training is painful, but there will come a day when you think "Wow, I haven't changed a diaper in a long time." And that is a good day.

Hang in there! Thanks for the post.. as for the "every five minutes" that is seriously what my mom did with my younger sister and her best friend. Mom would literally set the oven timer and every five minutes they would run to the bathroom and everybody would sit on the potties and if they went, they'd get an M&M... after a couple of days, they backed it off to ten minutes...then a half hour, hour.. you get the picture. At the end of about a week and a half they were both potty trained. They were totally hopped up on candy (Chip) but they were potty trained. I don't have the patience you have though...you're definitely a great mom! Hugs to you both!

Well I have no experience with potty training but I am pretty sure it would very difficult and I would be over saying "you have to go potty" after the 5th time.
