No squats needed in our family! We just pull over to the side of the road, take our (screaming-loudly-I-need-to-pee-now) children out of their seats, pull down their undies, hold them up ('cause they "don't wanna touch the ground!), and aim.

And before you ask, we have girls.

I adore M&M's! I have the same problem with resisting chocolate temptation.

Oh my friend ... I could tell you HORROR stories of having to "squat it" in very unsightly places while living in China. Ga-nasty.

Check out One Step Ahead,or a place like that, for convenient travel potties. I have one in the back of my car, and it breaks down easily to fit into a diaper bag or backpack.
